Panama is renowned for establishing several world bird watching and counting records. The country has over 940 registered species of birds and many can be found in the Soberania National Park, the Metropolitan National Park, Chagres National Park and Darien National Park. Here is a small sample with a few pictures for you to enjoy and hopefully to encourage everybody to help safeguard their habitat. Some of the descriptions are from Wikipedia.

Panamá es reconocido por poseer varios "récords" mundiales de observación y conteo de aves. El país tiene registrada científicamente más de 940 especies de aves y muchos pueden encontrarse en el Parque Nacional Soberanía, Parque Nacional Metropolitano, Parque Nacional Chagres y Parque Nacional Darién. Aqui presentamos una pequeña selecion de fotos de aves, esperamos que las disfruten y ayuden a salvaguardar su habitat.
