Jaguars, pumas, ocelots, jaguarundis and margays are at home in parts of the rain forests in Panama, it is a very remote posibility that you will ever spot one of those cats as they are very shy and run away mostly long before you even know they are there. Now as mentioned before if you venture out to remote areas and plan to go deep into the rain forest, make sure you have a knowledgable local guide along so you dont get lost or get in any danger.
